Feeding The Ducks.

Still no noticeable improvement in the weather, it seems to be raining on and off every day.  Went on a trip to local reservoir with my grandson to feed the ducks, before very long the seagulls turned up to join in.  Some signs of warmer weather to come on the way back.

Looking Forward To Spring.

It has been a long time since the last update, we have still been going out, just not as far.  I am sure it has not rained every day since, but sometimes it seems that way. Here we are now in 2014, two thirds of the way through January and I for one am looking forward to spring and some warmer and dryer weather. Any walk is a good walk but much more enjoyable in even half decent weather, here's hoping for 2014.

Tinted Frames Of Countryside Images.

I Finally got round to experimenting with some of the software that came with my camera. Are the results still a true image of events, I am not sure.  They could be replicated by using just the camera settings and various filters, but would take longer.  Some of the results are very good and these types of images seem to be widely accepted in the world of photography these days.

Ahhhhhhh.

Nothing more to say really is there, apart from hope they all make it, will see if I can spot them over the next couple of weeks, fingers crossed.

Glastonbury 2 Years On.

As the Glastonbury weekend has arrived again it got me to thinking.  I started this journal just over two years ago and one of the first posts was headed  "Glastonbury And Not Much Else" 26 June 2011, (That was the year of  U2, Coldplay, Elbow, Plan B) and it was as always great but not the epic of 2009 with The Boss, anyway I digress, in some ways it seems like yesterday, but then again in others way's it doesn't, it wasn't. Event wise it's been a busy weekend, obviously Glastonbury, half way through Wimbledon and the Grand Prix, still found time to get out.  Friday we got a complete drenching twice, the first three photo's from Friday were taken from the welcome shelter of a hide after half an hour of walking through the rain.
